I post WIP along side my completed projects. I legitimately do not post WIP for the intent to farm views or stats. I did not know that was an issue and people can easily mistake me for doing that. I guess the rating system is a lot more seriously taken, I was not aware of that. I haven’t been on this site for long and I largely don’t interact with anyone here.
What I post is with the intent to wanting to share my art and document my progress on my projects. Newgrounds allows for me to post WIP animations so I will do so until I get warnings from them. Additionally if someone could educate me on the etiquettes of using NewGrounds, I would appreciate that. Thank you.

I don't know what you have been told, but the rules are this :
For the art portal, when you want to upload a sketch or any unfinished stuff, or WiP, you need to un-check the "this is not a sketch" box, so it won't appear in the art portal (where finished drawings are uploaded.)

As for the Movie portal, the rules are more "strict". "Test animations" will be unpublished if they get a too low score, for quality control (so people can't just upload irl videos and stuff).

Also there's no algorithm on Newgrounds. So people can't "farm" views, fans, stars, and even less, stats (because there's none). If someone want to be "popular", they have to engage with the people, in the forums for instance :)
So post whatever you want, but just follow the rules! :)
